The lands of the Superiore can now be visited thanks to the Prosecco Ring, a 15-kilometer route that winds through the production sites of the Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG, touching the hamlets of San Pietro di Barbozza, Santo Stefano and Saccol. It can be traveled on foot and by bicycle, preferably accompanied by a guide. It is indicated by panels and cultural projects such as Vignarte are held there.

Conegliano Valdobbiadene Docg Prosecco Superiore is recognized for its vital elegance, light straw color, moderate body, exclusive fruity and floral scent.

It is produced in the 15 municipalities to which the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene belong.

Among these are the crus or the famous Superiore di Cartizze and the Rive obtained from grapes coming exclusively from a single municipality or fraction of it.

Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG is produced in the types Spumante, Frizzante, Tranquillo and Spumante sui Lieviti.

The sparkling wine is the symbolic version of the denomination; pleasant and versatile, it created a real drinking style.

The Spumante is produced in the Extra Brut, Brut, Extra Dry and Dry versions according to the residual sugar present.

From the driest, the Extra Brut, to the sweetest, the Dry.

IL METODO MARTINOTTI

The method of sparkling wine making which involves a second fermentation of the wine in autoclaves, i.e. large pressurized containers, often in steel.

It is the most suitable method for the production of bubbles from aromatic or fruity vines whose expression of the scent would be compromised by a longer stay on the yeasts, as it is required by the classic method.

The variants of Prosecco spumante are distinguished by the amount of sugar residue present.

The “extra brut” is the driest and is the ideal aperitif.

The “extra dry” is the classic prosecco with characteristic aromas.

The sweetest, the “dry”, is perfect with dry pastries.
