ENOLOGO
This is the wine with an important history… that of grandfather Antonio, called Toni Codel by everyone, who together with father Clemente taught me to cultivate the vine and respect the land.
This bottle represents him in the label, with his straw hat that he wore to work in the vineyard, but above all in the content in which the straw-yellow colour, the very fine and persistent bubbles and the scent of bread crust given by the indigenous yeasts that create more complex notes over time, recall his way of ‘making’ wine.
We produce Toni Codel with a selection of grapes from our oldest vines (some of which are 60/70 years old) and a small part from historical varieties of the area such as Bianchetta and Perera. Thanks to its structure and body, it can be tasted appreciating its freshness even after years of maturation in the bottle.
It is a wine to drink with friends on festive occasions as grandfather used to do and as we still do today.
